The river Baan-Ganga is tributary of river Beas, it rises from southern slopes of Dhauladhar range of Himalayas and joins Baner river downwards of Kangra fort and Rani ka Talab near Maira,Nandrool from Jatehr side which in turn flows into Beas in Kangra valley.

The Baan- Ganga flows near by pass road to Kangra town on the hill foot of shri Brjeshwsri temple and near to Dr. Rajendra Prasaad Medical college Tanda.

The river is fed by snow melt waters from Dhauladhar range and natural spring in its way.
