The Gaj river also named as Gaj -Khad is a tributary of Beas which rises from the southern slopes of Dhauladhar range of Himalayas and joins Beas just upstream of Pong Dam in Pong wetlands.

The small perennial khads, Channi - Khad flowing through Bagga, parala , Rava areas and Daramkot water fall, Bleni Nalla and other small stream rising from southern slopes of Dhauladhar range form Gaj -Khad.
