The Kangra Valley is a very beautiful valley between Dhauladhar range in the North and Shivalik hills in the South The Dhauladhar range has snow clad mountains feeding the perennial tributaries of Beas river. The Neugal Khad is the tributary of Beas originating from Dhauladhar range from North and Joins in district Kangra Himachal Pradesh.
Neugal khad flows adjoining to Palampur
The Neugal khad has a beautiful picnic spot about 3 to 4 Km from Palampur. Visitors used to enjoy the panoramic views of valley from this spot.

Neugal Park is a centre of attractions for tourists. The department of Agriculture Himachal Pradesh has established a big nursery of Tea plants on the left bank of Neugal khad at Diberpat at Palampur.
