Buran Ghati Pass Or Barua Pass :-
Barua pass is also called Buran Ghati Pass . The Barua Pass is located at an altitude of 4578 metres above mean sea level and connects Kinnaur district with Garhwal of Utrakhand .
The pass is accessible from Shimla via Thiyog Rohru route, the village Barua is situated in district Kinnaur , just below the Barua pass . The Janglik , starting point of trek is about 150 km from Shimla

The trekking teams from India and abroad used to enjoying the beauty and climate of this valley in summer season in the month of May and June .
Dayara Thatch View
The trek starts from Janglik village near Rohru and climbs to Dayara Thatch , Litham Thatch , then from Litham the Chandernahan lake is easily accessible , the lake remains frozen maximum time of the year . From Litham Thatch the trail further traverses through Dhunda then to Barua pass . From Dhunda Munirang is the beautiful river camp site . On the other side of the pass there is a beautiful village Barua in district Kinnaur . To this side there are snow slides and tourists often enjoy these with ropes . The Barua is connected with road and the tourists can further visit Chhitkul , Sangla valley and can return to Shimla via Karchham , Rampur and Narkanda , finally Shimla . Thus this route connects Kinnaur and Garhwal region of Uttarakhand with Shimla also .

The trek is famous for its panoramic landscapes and meadows full of flowers ,tall trees ,apple orchards and snow capped peaks . It is amazing for nature lovers .
