Shipki Pass is a mountain pass in district Kinnaur connecting Nagari prefecture in Tibet with Kinnaur in Himachal Pradesh India situated at an altitude of 3930 metres above mean sea level .

The river Satluj enters India near this Pass  . This pass is an important pass . The Pass is near to the Khab town in Kinnaur . The boundary of Spiti valley Starts from Khab, the Khab is the confluence point of Spiti river and Satluj river .

There is another Pass Shipkila pass which connects Spiti with Lahaul region  where as Shipki connects Kinnaur with Tibet .
