The Tirthan River, "The Tributary of Beas, Rising From The South- East of Kullu From The Base Of Great Himalayan Range, In Himachal Pradesh. "

 Tirthan is also a very beautiful valley with tremendous nature all around. The Tirthan river flows through this valley. It is the Tributary of Beas river rising from the base of an offshoot of the great Himalayan range in the South - East of Kullu.

Then it flows in South - West direction and confluence with Beas at Larji. The numbers of small streams joins the Tirthan in its course, which are snow fed and are perennial.

In the upper course of Tirthan river it flows in a V - Shape valley and spreads in reaches near confluence with Beas at Larji.
