Bir Billing Paragliding Site :- 

Paragliding Bir Billing Himachal Pradesh 

Bir Billing Paragliding Site has gained an international importance and it is the world's 2nd best paragliding site  at an elevation of 2438.4 metres above mean sea level the take off site and Bir the landing site at an elevation of 1524 metres above mean sea level . Among all  the Paragliding sites in Himachal Pradesh  Bir Billing is most beautiful  rather in the world .

The Bir Billing Paragliding Site is located in the lap of Dhauladhar Himalyan ranges with an open  valley near Baijnath and Joginder Nagar about 512 Km North of Delhi in Himachal Pradesh . It is about 61 Km from Dharamshala and 30 Km from Palampur .

The Paragliding Take off site named Billing has an excellent grassy dome easily accessible through four wheelers and allows to take off especially in the South and West when the breeze strengthens .

Today is the day when we , mean India became Republic. 

Path of Progress and prosperity adopted on this day on 26th. January 1950 and we started stepping up , today all Indian brothers and sisters must look back  the year 1950 where were we all  ? And simultaneously look today 's India . We have gained a lot, this became possible because of Constitution of India which we adopted on this day .

Tashi Jong Monastery  :-

Tashi Jong Monastery is situated in village Tashi Jong in between Paprola and Taragarh  on Mandi Pathankot National Highway .

This Buddisht Monastery is established by 8 Th. Khamtrul Rinpoche  , Dongyu Nyima . It is the centre of traditional activity , Drugpa kagyu Buddhism .  Here you can visit main temple , Stupa of Khamtrul Rinpoche . The Yamantak retreat center is not open for general tourists . The Monastery is very beautiful and peace full .

It a very beautiful place to visit , it is very peaceful and you can have mental peace of you spend some time in this complex .

Triund  Trek :-

Base camp Triund Trek 

Triund is a hill top alpine meadow situated at an altitude of about 2850 metres above mean sea level and about 9 Km from Mcleodganj  in district Kangra Himachal Pradesh . It is an excellent place for nature lovers from where you can have panoramic views of Dhauladhar mountain ranges , Dharamshala , Mcleodganj , Bhagsu village and Shivalik hills of Kangra .

The Triund Trek is one of the easiest hill treks which even  a beginner can easily complete . The trek starts from Mcleodganj and being easy one it is very popular among trekkers .

The Triund can be completed in one day as it is easy one . After completing this trek some experienced trekkers goes further to Lahesh Cave which about 6Km from Triund at an altitude of 3500 metres above mean sea level.

From Lahesh Cave to Indarhar Pass which is situated at an elevation of about 4425 metres one has to cover a distance of about 8 to 9 Km . Laka glacier is at an altitude of 2895 metres above mean sea level . Few experienced trekkers like to go to Laka glacier after completing the Triund Trek .

Indarhar Pass Trek

 The Indrahar Pass is situated at an elevation of about 4425 metres above mean sea level on the boundary of district Kangra and Chamba in Himachal Pradesh .

The Indrahar Pass is connected with moderate to difficult Trek which starts from Dharamsha in district Kangra to Ground caves then Laka , Lahesh then to Indrahar Pass.

Trekking troups enjoy the panoramic views of Dhauladhar mountains , the beauty of lush green valleys , flora and fauna which is very much charming and appealing to visitors .

The Trek passes by the crystal blue water of lakes Mankiani and Kareri . The distance from Mclodganj to Indrahar Pass is about 31 Km . The descending from Indrahar Pass the trekking troups reach Chatty Parao about 12km journey then Kuarsi  about 15 Km journey then finally reach at Chamba via Machetar covering a distance of about 16Km . The nature is very charming .

The India today  is celebrating the birth anniversary of Great Hero of freedom struggle and founder of Indian National Army  Neta ji Subhash Chandra Bose  as " Prakram

 Divas ".

Neta ji Subhash Chandra Bose was born on 23 Rd. January 1897 in Bangal , He was very intelligent from Childhood  . To join the Freedom struggle Neta ji  Subhash Chandra Bose gave resignation from the government job  and joined the Congress Party and National Freedom Movement led by Mahatma Gandhi in 1921 . He  started  the  Swaraj news  paper . Soon became the President of All India Youth Congress and Bengal state Congress Secretary in 1924 .

Neta ji Subhash Chandra Bose organization and founded Indian National Army  . "Give me blood I will give you freedom ".

In the life time  Neta ji went to jail  11 times but his courage was never got down . Neta ji sacrificed his whole life for the freedom of India .

Neta ji died on 18 Augast 1945 in a aeroplane crash in Taipae .

Neta ji Subhash Chandra Bose will be ever remembered  for his great sacrifice .
