Debsa Pass connecting district Kullu with Spiti :-
The Debsa pass is a high altitude mountain pass which exists between district Kullu and Spiti . It is a by pass trek to Pin - Parbati pass .
The Debsa pass is situated at an altitude of 5360 metres above mean sea level .
How we can reach :- How the pass can be accessed ,the Debsa pass is accessible from both sides , either from Kaza the head quarter of Spiti or from Manikaran from Kullu side .

The trek to Debsa pass is accessible from Kullu through Parbati Valley from Manikaran . The route is followed by river Parbati from this side
The Parbati Valley is very beautiful , the nature here has beautiful spots having heart touching landscapes .
The Manikaran has hot water springs and lacs of people visit this valley every year .

The distance between Manikaran and Debsa pass is about 44.7 Kms The trek starts from Manikaran and follow Kasol ,Tosh .
When coming from Chandigarh the route is Chandigarh Mandi Manali highway and bifurcates from Bhunter to Manikaran .

From Kaza Side :-
Kaza is the administrative headquarters of Spiti and falls in cold desert of Spiti which is famous for its beautiful landscapes .

From Kaza the distance of Debsa pass is about 43.8 Kms and one has to follow Debsa river in Spiti to reach this pass .
Mr. Joydeep Sirkar has discovered this pass with his team crossing over on 21 September 1995 .
Sangam is the starting point to Debsa pass trek from Spiti side .

To reach Kaza take road route from Shimla to Rampur the taking through Kinnaur enter Spiti valley at Khab .
The journey from Shimla to Kaza is about 420 Kms .
The shorter route to Kaza is from Manali following Solang valley Atal tunnel Gramphu , Batal Kunzum pass ,Losar Kaza route .
The Atal tunnel has reduced the distance by about 20 kms and. the Manali Kaza is about 183 kms .
The Atal tunnel is 9.02 kms at an altitude of 3000 metres above mean sea level and is a world class longest highway tunnel in the world .
