Koksar :- 

The Koksar village in Lahaul valley is the first village called gate way to Lahaul valley . The Koksar village is situated at an altitude of 3140 metres above mean sea level .

It is situated on the right bank of river Chandra . On the left bank you can stay in Himachal Pradesh Public Works Department 's Rest House 

.  In the winters the Koksar village is covered with snow and during summer you can enjoy the beauty of alpine flowers around the village . Herds of goats and sheeps can be seen grazing green grass called Neeru . The village is about 19 kms  from Rohtang .
