The Baleni Pass in district Kangra connects Kangra and Chamba .

 The Baleni Pass lies in district Kangra ,it also called Baleni Jot  . The Baleni Jot is situated in the foothills of Dhauladhar range making a traversing path way between Kangra and Chamba districts.

       Mclodganj Dharamsha district Kangra

The Baleni Jot is situated at an altitude of 3730 metres above mean sea level . The Kareri  lake is about 7 Km from this pass . The Kareri lake is just below Baleni on the Kangra side  . The Kareri lake is a glacial lake , trekking troups also enjoy the view of lake .

                         Baleni Pass Trek

The Baleni Pass Trek is also known as Minkiani pass Trek . The top of the pass offers panoramic views of Our -Panjal and Chamba valley . The Trek starts from Mclodganj and passes through alpine pastures , forests ,sparkling streams and beautiful landscapes .
