Beautiful view of Nesang Village District Kinnaur Himachal Pradesh

Up to year 1999 there was no road access to this village. During June 1999 I got the opportunity to join Moorang Sub- division of Himachal Pradesh public Works Department as Assistant Engineer. At that time this sub- division was functioning under Karchham Division  . Er. G C Sharma was Executive Engineer of Karchham Division at that time. The day I joined I met with Er. G C Sharma to discuss Plan about the works to be executed on priority.

The Gimthing Valley Road was  the top most priority . It was the road which  was to connect the Nesang village, the village situated near India - Tiebet border in district Kinnaur .

After about two weeks Mr. Subhash Negi who was the Tribal Commissioner and Secretary of Public Works Department to the Government of Himachal Pradesh rang me and told that tomorrow at nine AM meet him at Jangi barrier for joint inspection of Nesang village along with Executive Engineer Mr. GC Sharma regarding construction of Nesang road. Next day we inspected the area and discussed all possible efforts and plans, on this I assured him to construct this road up to bridge point before first snow fall . With the help of our officers, Junior Engineer we put all the men and machinary in construction activities and by the grace of God we achieved our target before fifteenth November 1999 and opened the road for smooth regular bus service. People of the Nesang village gave us a warm welcome with Nesang Brandy the local produce of Nesang,we enjoyed it along with other officers present on that occasion, rest of the road work was completed next year  thus The Nesang village was connected with road work. The credit goes to our officers team that was Er. Nirmohi Superintending Engineer  , Executive Engineers Er. GC Sharma, Er Sonam Ringchen Negi who was famous by the name Saddam Hussain due his strong will in decision making and good administration.Er. Krishan Bhardawaj, Er. PK Verma both were Junior Engineer at that time now both are Executive Engineer . Even today I shalute to these officers who helped me in execution of this road along with other projects in district Kinnaur as I was the Assistant Engineer and all planning was my part. Our Worthy Secretary Mr. Subhash Negi was inspiration to us.

I say If one has a strong Will power nothing is difficult for him, he will achieve the goals easily.  This story of Nesang road how it came on the earth.
